For the second year in a row Huseby bruk promotes sustainability studies with focus on forests, water and wood by presenting researchers in these field in the exhibition “Nyfiken på”. The project’s goal is to make research available in a visual and unique way as well as awaken curiosity in the visitors to learn more.
The exhibition “Nyfiken på” is conceptualised, spatial designed and produced by Transpond.
The two new researchers and visualisations for 2024 are:
• The important elk – Märtha Wallgren, Skogsforsk
• The Forest as a carbon sink – Lars Högbom, Johan Sonesson, Monika Strömgren, Skogsforsk
In 2023 the three researchers were:
• The hunt for the harmless glue – Reza Hosseinpourpia, Linnéuniversitetet
• Don’t take water for granted – Juan Velasquez, Linnéuniversitetet
• Small plankton play a great deal – Hanna Farnelid, Linnéuniversitetet
In 2022 the researchers were:
• Medical residues in the water - Ola Svahn, Högskolan i Kristanstad
• Cross-glued wood - Michael Dorn, Linnéuniversitetet
• The expansive tree - Martin Bader, Linnéuniversitetet
